Event Viewer sustains logs about program, security, and system events on your computer. You can use Event Viewer to view and manage the event logs, collect information about hardware and software problems and monitor Windows security events. To go to Event Viewer click Start, then click Control Panel, then double-click Administrative Tools and then double-click Event Viewer.

System Restore

Click Start, then click All Programs, then click Accessories, then click System Tools, then click System Restore. Select Create a Restore Point or Restore my computer to an earlier time. Follow the instructions on the wizard.

MANAGING DEVICES
DEVICE MANAGER

Right click My Computer, then click Manage, then click Device Manager. OR Right click My Computer, then click Properties, then click Hardware tab and then click Device Manager OR Click Start, then click Run and then type devmgmt.msc. Right click the device from the list of devices and then click Properties.

INSTALL A NEW DRIVER

Double-click the device you want to update or change, then right click the device you want to update or change, then click Update Driver to open the Hardware Update Wizard and follow the instructions.

ROLLING BACK

In the Device Manager right click the device for which you want to revert to the previous version of the driver and click Properties, click the Drivers tab, click Roll Back Driver.
